Expressing Opinion for Mass Consumption

Photographing High School Sports

Andy Grandinetti says that his waking hours are consumed by two things: family and work. He and his wife Susie balance raising four sons with the demands of his teaching job. There is not much time for anything else besides sleep.

He has sponsored the San Marcos (Texas) High School yearbook for more than 10 years. He also teaches journalism, photography, broadcasting and a leadership class.

He says he has also been his children's soccer coach, Scout leader, teacher, playground big kid, and anything else being a modern-day dad demands.

Grandinetti participated in the 2001 ASNE High School Journalism Institute at the University of Texas at Austin.
