Advantages of doing so include speed and bandwidth. An example is Javascript, a programming language that allows developers to build interactivity into websites. Penny Schulte teaches English and journalism at Culver City (Calif.) High School. She advises the student newspaper, The Centaurian.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from University of California, Santa Barbara, a teaching credential from San Francisco State University, and a master’s degree in technology-based education from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

She enjoys spending time at the beach with her two daughters.
