Mary Mitton teaches English at Big Walnut High School, in Sunbury, Ohio. She also teaches journalism and advises the student newspaper, The New Eagle. Mitton earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary integrated English/language arts education from Miami University. She enjoys reading and traveling and has studied in New Zealand and Costa Rica. Mitton attended the 2009 ASNE Reynolds Institute at Kent State University.
